Who can participate in Valkyrie Race?
Anyone aged 16 and above can participate in Valkyrie Race. No prior experience is required, but participants should be in good health and prepared for endurance and strength challenges. The race offers two competition formats: Individual, where participants complete the entire course solo, and Doubles, where partners share the workload at designated stations. Running shoes are mandatory, and gloves are recommended for specific strength stations.
Are there different divisions in Valkyrie Race?
Valkyrie Race is an open category event. All participants compete under the same race format, either as Individuals, where they complete the entire race solo, or in Doubles, where two partners share the workload at designated stations. Every competitor faces the same endurance and strength challenges, and there are no separate divisions based on age, gender, or experience level.
How is my race time measured?
Your race time is measured using an official timing system that tracks your start and finish time. The clock begins when you cross the start line and stops when you reach the finish stage after completing all stations and the final run. For Doubles, the race time is recorded based on when the second partner crosses the finish line. Any penalties incurred during the race will be added to the final time.
Where does the race take place?
Valkyrie Race will be held at Singapore Sports Hub, OCBC Square, on May 10 and 11, 2025.

Will there be photos captured during the race?
Yes, official photographers will be present throughout the event. Participants can purchase their race photos when buying their tickets online or after the race if they did not buy them in advance.
Are spectators allowed?
Yes, spectators are welcome. Since the event is held in an open area, friends, family, and supporters can cheer on participants throughout the race.
How do I know my start time and when should I arrive?
You will receive an email confirmation with your allocated race start time. Participants should arrive at the event location at least 60 minutes before their scheduled start time to allow for check-in and warm-up.
What is the check-in procedure?
Race bibs will be distributed at least one week before the race. On race day, participants must bring their confirmation email for verification at the check-in counter. After check-in, participants will receive their timing chip. It is recommended to arrive at least 60 minutes before the start time to complete the check-in process smoothly.
Are there hydration stations in the race?
Yes, there are two hydration stations available along the racecourse to keep participants hydrated.
What do I do if I am injured or not feeling well during the race?
If you experience an injury, dizziness, or feel unwell, stop immediately and notify the nearest marshal or medical staff. Medical assistance stations are located at the start and finish line as well as midway through the course to provide support. Your safety is the top priority.
Can I make changes to my registration?
Changes are not allowed within two weeks of the event. If you need to make any modifications before this deadline, please email [email protected] for assistance.
Are there Valkyrie Race apparels?
Yes, Valkyrie Race apparels are available for purchase. Participants can buy them online through the Valkyrie Race website and redeem them on race day. There will also be a display booth at the event where participants can try out the apparels before redeeming them later.
Are there briefings on race day?
Yes, a race briefing will be conducted before each wave starts. Participants will receive instructions on the race format, movement standards, and safety guidelines. It is important to be on time to attend the briefing and prepare for the race.
